The 2007 ESPY award nominations have just rolled in – and we couldn’t be more stoked. 16-year-old snowboarder Jamie Andersen got the nod in the Best Female Action Sports Athlete category, alongside other action sports greats like Layne Beachley, Torah Bright, Sara Burke and Elissa Steamer. Andersen got her shred on this past winter, snagging the gold in slopestyle at this winter’s X-Games in addition to 2nd place at the Vans Cup and Vail Session.
On the other side of the gender barrier, snowboarder Andreas Wiig snagged a nomination in the Best Male Action Sports Athlete category alongside legends like Kelly Slater, Danny Way, Travis Pastrana, and Ricky Carmichael.
