Introducing Lexi Dupont, the first female to film with Poor Boyz Productions since Sarah Burke, and she’s pretty rad.
Lexi grew up Sun Vallley, Idaho, and is another big mountain skier who has her roots in racing, like Tatum Monod and Angel Collinson. But after moving to Colorado to study for her degree, Lexi started competing in big mountain competitions and hasn’t looked back since, spending most of her winters in Alaska and gaining all the necessary experience to slay massive lines and drop huge cliffs.
Her ski movie debut was in Warren Miller’s Wintervention from 2010 which saw her going to the Arctic Circle to ski in 24 hour daylight, camping, touring and having an awesome time. Since then, Lexi has spent the past couple of years travelling the world and filming with Poor Boyz and K2, gaining herself the reputation of someone who will ride anything you throw at her.
She reckons the secret to her success is getting on well with the guys and having a good time, but from all the filming time she’s been putting in, it’s clear that she’s a super hard worker, too. And she gets involved with International Women’s Ski Day, which puts on a series of events across North America to encourage more women to get riding!
Check Lexi out in this year’s Poor Boyz film, Twenty, she may have been pretty quiet up until now, but we reckon she’s going to be huge!
