Briefly describe yourself… I’m snowboarding full time, which means traveling a lot all over. I’ve just been injured though, so this summer has been quite different. I’ve done a lot of other stuff like wakeboarding, long boarding, hanging out in the town with my friends (who I don’t see often). I like spending time with my family and just chilling in my apartment with my boyfriend.
Talk us through your average day… My average day is really different – it depends on if I’m on a snowboard trip or if I’m at home. When I’m traveling I usually wake up early, ride for about 5 hours. Then I exercise for a bit, check my mails on a local internet cafe, eat dinner and go to bed!
How long have you been riding? It’s my 12th year this season.
Best achievement: 3rd Vans triple crown-03, 3rd Nippon Open-03, 3rd Nippon Open-04, 10th Olympics Salt lake, 5th Candy Jam-05, 3rd Nokia Roxy Jam-06.
Best trick: Well, I would say bs.720 on a jump.
Favourite riders: Cheryl Maas
Favourite place to ride and why: I’m at Snow Park New Zealand when answering this so I must say its awesome here. Just so much fun in such a small park and every line is shaped and prepped.
What essential items do you pack in your suitcase for a trip? Too many clothes (I like the opportunity to choose) adapters, pain killers, sunscreen, make up, trainers, two riding outfits and many beanies!
Top 3 tunes: Audioslave: ‘Show Me How to Live’. Dolly Parton: ‘9 to 5’, Big Bang: ‘To the Mountains’.
How do you stay in shape? Spinning, yoga, pilates, sit ups.
Top training tip: Exercise a little bit every day!
Must-have beauty product: Dermalogica face block with a tan.
Beauty tip: Never skip the face cream – always use sun screen!
Favourite clothing brands: Seven, for all man kind Jeans. Roxy skirts and tops. Converse and DC.
Fashion tip: Find your own style and to try mix and match!
Which celeb’s style do you admire? Kate Moss
Favourite quote: Do your own thing!
Before I die I want to: Go to Australia… oh, and I’d like to try a parachute 😉
