This year’s London Surf Film Festival is shaping up nicely, with the just-announced International Feature category line-up featuring the documentary Stephanie In The Water. The film follows five-time ASP World Tour champion (and Cooler fave) Stephanie Gilmore, both in and out of the blue. It was created by rad filmmaker Ava Warbrick, who we also interviewed a few months ago. You can watch the trailer for the film, which will be having its European premiere at the film festival, below.
The festival will also involve the world premiere of Into The Sea directed by Marion Poizeau – an intriguing film that follows Irish champion surfer Easkey Britton to Iran, where she dons a hijab and becomes the first woman to surf in the country. You can watch the trailer for it here.

And these films are only two of the 13 international features that will be shown. For the full line-up, tickets and more information, head over to the LSSF website now.
