The DC Central Park, the Roxy Glacier Park and the Easy Park will see even more obstacles added to their already sweet set. The park will be designed and built by the same folk that did last years design; Mellow Constructions, who’s designs seek to involve riders of all skills. With endless freeruns, and a boat load of rails and boxes Kitzteinhorn’s set to offer everything that a freerider could want!
The Roxy Park’s set to get and extra 23 obstacles; 11 jumps and 12 rails and boxes and DC Central Park will be rocking a fantastic new 30 obstacles from the end of November. This will include 15 different jumps and 15 varied rails and boxes.
The new highlights are:
- 20-metre fun box,
- 15-metre long and 3-metre wide A-box,
- Elephant Rail,
- New Down Rail
- A Park Cliff
If you’re a slopestyle beginner, don’t be scared off by all the bigger boy’s toys, you can practice your first tricks at The Easy Park with its eight jumps and four rails.
Considering this huge choice for freestylers it’s no wonder that high-profile events will be held at Kitzsteinhorn. On March 15-16 2008, the finals of the Snowpark Tour will take place at the Central Park – including a party at the legendary Kaprun Castle. And as last year, the world’s best girl snowboarders will gather together for the Roxy Chicken Jam at the Glacier Park on December 14-16 2007, which will identify the best of the best at this 6-star ‘Ticket To Ride’ Women’s Snowboard Tour event.
