Iceland’s best dressed will be out in force for the first ever flagship store to be launched by Nikita Clothing. Nikita’s heritage has grown, lived and been nurtured in the rugged and magnificent realm of Iceland. It makes sense that the premier spot for the flagship clothing and lifestyle shop be situated in the stylish and independent city of Reykjavik.

The papers have been signed and the transformation is underway. From what is currently a four story house with back garden right in the heart of the city will be a Nikita lifestyle oasis. With two floors dedicated to retail space, a shoppers paradise will include the Nikita streetwear collection, style focused extension Nikita Selekzion and in winter, the best snow outerwear available, all for the girls. To compliment the collections other select labels and brands offering something different, fitting in with Nikita’s own style, will have a place. The third floor will be an extra work space for the designers at Nikita HQ. The final floor will be for own use, offering accommodation when team riders and friends come to town. In the back yard, surrounding walls will display artwork by featured street artists, there will be a custom built mini ramp and places to take a seat. Special events and launches will be held there with enough space for bands to play.

The initial open house party launch will take place 22nd August 2009 during the annual Culture Night in Reykjavik, all are welcome.
