If, like us, you spent a lot time boo hoo-ing the lack of Roxy Chicken Jam last winter then you’ll be grinning like fools at the news of a spanking new event from Roxy to be launched this winter. Taking the name (well two thirds of it) from their awesome surf event this summer, the Roxy Snow Pro 2012 will take place in Saalbach Hinterglemm on February 10th 2012 by cover of darkness, yep that’s right it will be at the Nightpark, ghoultastic huh!
It’s gonna be a chicks-only 5 star TTR event with a bulging $25,000 prize purse and qualification for up to 30 riders. Our current cover star Aimee Fuller, plus former cover stars and shredders extraordinaire Cheryl Maas, Torah Bright and Kjersti Buaas are amongst those set to attend. Following the night finals a live concert and closing party will go off! It will also be a carbon neutral event. Stay tuned for more updates as we get em.
