You’ve heard of Earth Hour right? Now we present to you SKATE HOUR. No need to turn out the lights, just get on your skateboard for Skateistan THIS SATURDAY!
On a mission to help with their latest campaign ‘Keep Skateistan Rolling’, we have teamed up with Mahfia TV and the charity for a special hour intended to get everyone on board. This Saturday 19th July at 6pm GMT/10am PST (google for other times) we want everyone to get on a board all over the world! Whether it’s a quick push down the road, a few ollies or an hour at the park, take a picture, put it on Instagram with #SkateHour and your location (see example below). Then donate to Skateistan.
Skate and donate! All it takes is a matter of minutes to do something good and help us get an awesome collection of snaps from around the world.
Plus there are prizes from Vans, WeSC, Volcom, Roxy, Lovenskate and Stance Socks up for grabs for those who tag a picture in that hour and donate. We will choose our favourites for a special gallery and online vote! Eye up some of the prizes here!
