It’s been a while since we’ve had a blog update from Brits On Board, but they have been busy filming Olympians, no joke, and before that they were in Morzine hanging with Brits living/shredding in the Alps. Here’s a quick update on the project…
words by Hannah Bailey
So since our last update on Brits on Board, we’ve been snowboarding, skating, interviewing Olympians and getting a special project ready to launch (await!). Our time has been split behind the camera and in the editing suite. But that’s not a bad thing, we have so much to show you from the world of girls snowboarding (and if you haven’t been keeping up, get on the Vimeo channel).
Rewind a couple weeks ago and we were out in the fresh air with our camera and Tammy from Mint Snowboarding as she took us on a splitboard adventure in the backcountry of Les Get. As ‘Brits On Board’ is not just about girls who shred in the UK, but Brits abroad too, we had headed over to meet the ladies who live and work out in Morzine. We caught up with Sophie Addison in the Avoriaz park, Gilly Seagrave on ‘Our Camp’ and bumped into more ladies just shredding around. On the mountain we recruited Gonzilla to come help us film some action and general fun on lifts. There’s a right good Brit crew over there, so lots to show in upcoming episodes…
But lets not get too far ahead of ourselves, as we still have part 2 of the Scottish Adventure to share with you. What happened when we visited Aviemore just as the snow had begun to fall. Dropping any day…eyes peeled!
For now, go watch it so far on the Brits On Board Vimeo channel
