Well, the day has finally arrived (second time around!) and at 5pm today I will no longer work for Cooler Magazine.

I’ve been lucky enough to have gained so much experience while I’ve been here and got to meet so many lovely people.

The things I’ve enjoyed the most were: going to the Metro Ski and Snowboard show, helping at the fashion shoots, making some lovely PR friends and writing up my learning to snowboard experience.

If you’ve ever thought that you’d like to work at a magazine whether it be in fashion or editorial, then I would highly recommend trying to get some experience. Whether that be writing for your school magazine/newsletter, writing off to magazines to ask for a weeks work experience, or just submitting reviews etc to publications…the more experience the better, and the more contacts you’ll make.

I just want to say thank you to Poppy, Amy and Amanda especially for giving me the opportunity to work at Cooler and to work alongside them and get my first step on the ladder!
