It’s been a while since I updated this blog, and I come back to a brand new Cooler website, looking sick… How pretty is Torah, seriously.
So Team Snowfix has been rather busy lately. Firstly and most importantly, we’ve been shooting the final TV episodes to be aired on the Extreme Sports Channel in February. They’re full of brand new content, new features, footage at last of our ski bum Mattia and general Snowfix silliness etc… and I’m a bit proud to be able to say that this time, I wasn’t just the token girl (don’t get me wrong, being the token girl to Charlie and Tim is an awesome job, but being an active part of the whole production process is even better). I directed, filmed and edited a feature on one of the world’s best female freeskiers and I got two of the UK’s best female snowboarders to come and play with us in the park in Avoriaz. The end result is 4 minutes of Snowfix making total fools of themselves in front of a bunch of kids… As much as I’d LOVE to spill the beans and name- drop and brag, I’ve got to keep things quiet until the episodes are out. You can catch them on Sky at some point this month, and for those who don’t have Sky, we’ll use the new content in the podcast at some point later this season, so keep checking www.snowfix.tv!!
Secondly, Tim and Charlie went to the Ispo in Munich and came back with loads and loads of footage of new gear so this week’s episode will concentrate on that. I was going to go too but as it happened, they only got hold of two media passes , so I’ll basically be discovering what’s in next season at the same time as you guys.
Whilst they were out there, I kept busy and got myself invited on the O’Neill Big Mountain Pro tour, which means that I’ll basically be spending 8 days in the French Alps on a bus with 24 of the world’s best freeskiers and snowboarders. I saw the list today and there are some HUGE names so keep an eye out for my blog for some (hopefully) juicy gossip 🙂
On a more personal note, I’ve been riding loads lately and I’m dropping big things now, stoked!!!
