Escaping the ever degreasing temperatures of the UK, I have come away for the winter and to prepare for the up coming kiteboarding season.
This will be my fourth trip back to South Africa and I never will get bored of how beautifully breathtaking this place is.
An hour north-west of Cape Town is a sleepy town, set on a huge lagoon, called Langebaan. With everything you could possibly need and its own weather system that constantly produces us with wind when every where else is still.
I love coming back here, it is very relaxed and I can kitesurf all day in the flat waters of the lagoon, or catch some waves further down.
Two weeks in to my 12 week trip here and I have been out all most every day, trying out my new Takoon E Nova kites and having a go at the many new tricks I would like to learn.
The forecast is looking good and the sun is out, what more can you ask for??
🙂 Emma
