Pauline Ado has won Gold at the ISA World Surfing Games  in Biarritz, after an amazing performance on Day three of the 2017 games.

The final round of the games was dominated by team France, Ado took the win with fellow French surfer Johanne Defay on her heels, winning the Silver Medal. No one came close to the pair, with Ado needing only three waves to mark her heat total of 12.17 and Defay scoring just behind with 10.43.

“I am so happy to win here in France,” said Ado after the event. “I’ve competed in this event four times and this was my first final. It’s the perfect timing for this Gold Medal to come in France in front of my family, friends, and all those who came here to support me.”

A huge congrats to Ado and all of this year’s medalists, check out some of the competition highlights below.
