With 77 World Cup titles and two Olympic medals under her belt, you could be forgiven for assuming that skiing icon Lindsey Vonn has no professional goals yet to meet.
The alpine skier claims however to have one big career marker still ahead of her, she wants to compete against men on an International Ski Federation (FIS) alpine course. When sharing her future plans to retire in 2016, Vonn said in no unsure terms that she wanted to beat the boys at the game before hanging up her skis.
However, a recent interview given by the chief race director for the women’s World Cup, Atle Skaardal, has made it seem as though Vonn’s dream might not be a possibility.
