Bright Spring days are upon us and Summer is just around the corner. This means that we’re packing away our snowboard and gloves for another season, and dusting off our other boards that are made for warmer adventures.

If like us, you’re a woman who views for seasons through which kind of board she can ride, you’ll already be aware of the almighty clothing brand Nikita. Made for ‘Women Who Ride’, this company makes clothing specifically designed to take you from the slopes, the beach or the skatepark, to the street with style and comfort (and with no need to dip into the men’s range of clothing at any point.)

Nikita has just released its new line for this year’s warmer months and we are stoked. Full of attitude, this collection is a masterclass in how to combine feminine cuts with action sport style and practicality, all while making us look seriously stylish.

Dusk Tee Ringer

This t-shirt just screams riot grrl vibes to us. A little bit skater, a little bit biker, the badass design, contrasted against the calm pastel coloured material works perfectly.

The Dusk Tee Ringer is also available in pastel peach and white heath, the classic t-shirt fit has black ribbed sleeves and the fabric is a blend of Rayon from bamboo and cotton.

Aura Jacket

Message jackets have been all the range for the last couple of seasons. From the DIY painted leather jacket look, to embroidered silk bombers that are more cheerleader try outs than biker gang, there are many ways to join in with this fun trend.

Nikita has entered its own contender with this classic denim jacket with the message “Beauty in Chaos” embroidered on back. The punchy message and boyfriend fit give this jacket a edgy feel, with the high quality denim and careful embroidering keep it looking more London Fashion Week than teenage rebellion.

Side-seam handpockets, button-up front and chest pockets give some nice detailing to this jacket and make it the perfect layer for both spring nights skating or summer beers in the garden.

Hydra Dress

Wear this dress over a long sleeved top with tights and high tops on a cold day, or on it’s own in the height of summer.

The super soft fabric has a mock turtleneck in the front, with an open design at the back, which instantly elevates any outfit you pair it with.

Crush Jean

There’s nothing like finding a new favourite pair of jeans. These high-waisted skinny jeans from Nikita’s new range have totally won us over.

The Crush Jean’s slimming front seam stitching makes them super flattering, as does the dark denim colour and the five pocket styling gives them a bit of an edge over your average high waisted jean.

Any skater who puts these pants on will also appreciate their slight elasticity in the leg, which allows for deep lunges, drops and stretches when you’re out on your board.

Talc Tank

We absolutely love this girly take on the traditional ‘muscle tank’ cut off. The Talc Tank has raw cut off arms, but a ribbed neck for style and comfort.

The seasonal script Nikita logo tank is made from a Rayon and cotton blend fabric and comes in this colour, as well as a black and white version. Available in XS to XL, so you can rock your tank style as fitted or as baggy as you like.
