We managed to catch up with crazy busy Jessica Piper from Man Up Girl! to get the lowdown on her latest design and lookbook project…
Hey! Wow the last four weeks have been real crazy! Apart from finalising the new Man Up Girl! collection we had a night of photographic fun with Gang Colours and Dutch Vice in Eindhoven, at the opening of the new MU Gallery. We met some rad people from all over, including illustrator and artist Neasden Control Centre, and Dublin duo Solar Bears.
Plus on Monday we launched our G21 capsule collection: something we were stoked to be a part of! George Asda liked our first collection so much that they asked us to design our own 5-piece edition for their G21 range. We really wanted to give them an authentic taste of what we’re all about, so we’ve gone full spectrum, from hand-drawn prints to ruched dresses and all-in-ones, keeping things bright and breezy for the summertime. At ManUpGirl! we pride ourselves on functional, versatile clothing, and that’s why all the pieces in this collection are interchangeable and designed to be layered and rearranged. This week we shot the collection just how we like it – casually. If you like what you see then head directly to the George website to grab yourself more than a bargain!
A huge thanks goes out to the whole team, our lovely stylist George for letting us use and abuse her humble home and JuiceGee for all the big kicks!
