Wetsuits don’t have to be long sleeved and long legged any more – and that’s what I liked about this long-john style wetsuit from Billabong.

It was incredibly easy to get on – there are no zips! – which was a complete delight after struggling with my winter suit. The shape is flattering and the criss-crossed back is pretty.

It was a size 8, so fitted my lower half perfectly but felt a little tight around the chest.

The neoprene is quite thin. It is suited for warmer climates, so not always practical for the UK, but perfect if you were going on surf trip to France or Spain.

I wasn’t so keen on the bright colours, but it does also come in black – so I would go for that one!
