If you love the ocean, the chances are you grew up daydreaming about being a mermaid.

We’re not talking Ariel and Disney here. ‘Real’ mermaids were beautiful, mysterious and, according to the myths about sailor’s encounters, a bit badass and dangerous.

Now we’re grown up, we only let our inner mermaid out every time we take to the waves. However this summer, there’s a new hair trend that might change all that.
