Our buddies at Whitelines have a good little discussion going on this week about “why women are so under-represented in the backcountry?” Not an easy one to answer, for our money we’d say well money is one factor, prescribed gender roles in both the industry and society is another but on the upside as their commenters say they are some big belisha beacons shining out as exceptions to the rule.
