We knew it at least since our interview with her last year, but the latest edition of the Billabong Global Big Wave Awards 2012 proofed once and for all that Brazilian Maya Gabeira is the queen of big wave surfing. While all the girls  tamed some nasty beasts in their entries, she’s coming up with footage like the below year after year after year, so we guess she more than deserved another trophy in her collection.
