Sod Switzerland and forget France, one of this year’s hottest snowboarding events is coming to (hopefully) snowy Scotland.
For the second year running, Vans will hold their Dawn of the Shred snowboard jam at the Vans Terrain Park in association with Cairngorm Snowboard Club, Scotland. Taking place on the 9th Feb and 22nd March, this open comp is a homegrown display of rail skills is not to be missed, with the Vans snow team rocking up to show off their talents in a team demo.
Treats in the Vans Terrain Park include: 6m and 9m kickers, a flat bar rail, jib barrel, battleship box, flat rail, flat down rail, escalator box and C box, which create an epic park right on our very doorstep. There will also be an opportunity to get your mitts on the latest Vans product to test at the Demo Boot Station.
To top it all off, no snow event would be complete without a Vans Apres Ski Party. Head over to the Woodshed Bar from 7pm for the perfect mix of DJs, drinks and dancing.

The cash prize purse is a tidy £500, so if you think you’ve got what it takes then submit your entry on the Vans website.
