On 11th May, hundreds of cyclists will take to the road in the Classic Oxfordshire Charity Bike Ride to raise much needed funds for Against Breast Cancer’s unique research.
Now in its 3rd year, over 1500 cyclists have so far taken part in this 30 or 60-mile cycle from Harwell through some of Oxfordshire’s prettiest countryside.
Suitable for seasoned cyclists wanting a speed challenge or for beginners looking to boost their fitness, the bike ride is a nice excuse for a day out in the country with some like-minded ladies. The route is fully signed and marshalled and there’ll be refreshment stops along the way (so no excuses for finding yourself ‘lost’ in a nice country pub!).
Breast Cancer is now the most common form of cancer in the UK. Each year more than 44,000 women will be diagnosed (that’s more that 100 women a day) and 13,000 will die of the disease. Help raise some funds to aid Against Breast Cancer’s unique research by joining in the fun on 11th May.
Advanced entry £12.50; on the day entry: £17.50
