Danner Boots are iconic. Stylish, vintage, a little bit hipster and always adventure ready, they feature on the pages of many people’s dream shoe list.
It’s easy to see why these shoes are so popular, from their tanned leather finish with exposed stitching to the riveted D-ring eyelets and red laces, they are a perfect example of how a hiking boot can look incredible, while still doing a sterling job. Throw them on with a pair of thick socks and some shorts for instant summer hiking style, while getting a better performance than many other people on the trail with more technical looking footwear.

Founded in 1932, Danner has been a staple of the outdoor market for almost a century. The doors of Danner Shoe Mfg. Company opened in the logging town of Chippewa Falls, Wis., where it then twelve employees worked to build affordable, handcrafted work boots and the finished boots sold for less than four dollars a pair.
In the decades since then, the company has transformed into a giant in the adventure industry. We recently tested their latest hiking boot, claiming to have both retro style and modern comfort.
