If you are lucky enough to live by a beach, you should sign up to the Great British Beach Clean this month.

Volunteers around the country are helping set up beach cleans for three days only with the aim of picking up as much litter as possible.

Can’t make it? You don’t even have to go along to an official one. #2minutebeachclean encourage every beach visitor to spend just two minutes of their time picking up as much rubbish as they can.

Alternatively, join Surfers Against Sewage to help them clean up the coastline.
