Garmin Vivo Active
Garmin Vivo Active
Price: £179.99
There’s no denying the Garmin Vivo Active is one of the more pricey fitness trackers on the market, but after a few uses, you can see why.
Its main feature is the GPS system, which makes its accuracy as good as it gets.
When running I really noticed the impact of having a GPS system. With this strapped to your wrist, it accurately gives you live pace information and distance.
Don’t worry if running isn’t your thing. It does exactly the same for swimming and cycling, and even golf.
As well as acting as a sports tracker, it’s a smart watch too – with all your messages going straight from your smartphone to your wrist. Clever right?
The Garmin definitely stands out, which is absolutely fine for running or cycling, but when it comes to everyday use it really isn’t all that attractive.
However, like most of devices, it isn’t really about style. What it lacks in looks it makes up for in accuracy.
Best for… anyone who considers themselves an aspiring athlete
