Paradise Lost? Zak Noyle’s photos of trash surfing Indo suggest the end is nigh

Holy f**k. We just saw these shots on GrindTV and had to share them with you. Taken by Zak Noyle, a staff photographer for Surfer Magazine, and owned by AFrame, they show insane levels of litter off the coast of Java, Indonesia.

Sure it’s after a storm but the sheer ratio of rubbish to pristine blue waves suggests things have gotten out of hand to the power of infinity. Come surf the debris soup? Erm no I think I’ll pass thanks. Properly depressing.
