Palm trees and cruisy slow mo’s, it could only be another Sunday morning in California. Here we were in Avocado Heights in East Los Angeles to meet with some of the Meow Skateboards, Mahfia TV and Hoopla crew for a day of skate and filming.

With the sun beaming down on our lenses, Samarria Brevard and Lacey Baker showed us around 4th Street skatepark the way they knew best. As Mimi Knoop, Vanessa Torres, Lisa Whitaker and Kim Woozy hung out in the shade, the more sensible place to be. Then it was on to a scouted street spot for a Samarria special, where in front of our lenses she worked herself up to this perfect nose slide. It was a beautiful moment that we were honoured to witness and now you can too..
