My charity windsurf turned out to be a huge success last Friday 17 November!

Due to the weather warning of severe gales unfortunately the skipper was not happy to take the boat out into the English Channel. The decision was therefore taken to windsurf from Selsey to Brighton non-stop at 44 miles. I managed the entire distance whilst my 2 other colleagues swapped over at Bognor Regis.

Given gusts of 50 miles an hour and big swells and breaking waves windsurfing on a very broad reach was no easy feat and I was glad when it was over!

Thanks to lots of support – £7,500 was raised!
