Briefly describe yourself… I am a professional kiteboarder and compete on the PKRA world tour and also when I can in the UK. I have been kiteboarding for about five years and love being in and on the water. I also like swimming, skating, sailing and pilates.

Describe your biggest adrenaline rush: It has to be this year on the PKRA tour. We have had some of the windiest conditions I have EVER been out in. It was scary, exciting and exhilarating all at once.

What, or who, is your greatest inspiration and why? Cindy Mosey is the most inspirational female kiteboarder and she has helped really push the level of women’s kiteboarding. I have a lot of respect and admiration for Ellen McArthur, I think what she has achieved is truly amazing regardless of her gender.

When are you happiest? When I am with Justin (boyfriend) and my friends having a great session on the water. There is nothing better than having an awesome session, kiting with your mates and to talk all night about it over a cold cider! (Yep, sorry, I’m a closet cider drinker!!!)

What’s your philosophy on life? That it is what ever you make it! Friends and family are the most important thing and will support you no matter what. Enjoy, have fun and do as much as you can 🙂

What’s your greatest dream or hope? My greatest hope for myself would be to ride the best that I can and achieve some top podium spots on the world tour.

How do you stay fit and healthy? when I am not out on the water, I like to do Pilates and Yoga to stay flexible with some cycling and running to keep my fitness up. I like to eat healthy too drinking lots of water and snaking on nuts and fruit, especially when I am competing.
