The penultimate event of the Freeride World Tour went down on the famous Tram Face in Squaw Valley in the USA last weekend.

The Women scored big time at this event, impressing the spectators with creative lines and jumping the same cliffs as the male competitors. Especially local skier Jaclyn Paaso, who entered the contest with a wild card, showing her skills with a massive cliff jump at the bottom of the face, faster and higher than most of the men, challenging them for the second heat. Even world class Skier (NOR), whom we featured in a web interview recently, had to accept the second behind Jaclyn, followed by Ingrid Backstrom (USA).

The Snowboard Division was dominated by Shannan Yates (USA) in front of Aline Bock (GER, who will be featured in our upcoming issue – watch out!!) and Susan Mol (USA).
