There’s not long to go until Nikita Chickita Europe kicks off on 5-6 April 2008. We’re as excited as kids at Christmas about the impending contest, so here are a few more updates on the latest developments…
The course at Serfaus is apparently coming along nicely. Shaper Marcus Falch has informed us that the course will include a roller kicker with 12m table and near a 7m table, and the second roller kicker a 14m table and near a 8-9m table. After the kicker you can switch from a tree, a stair setup and from the butter table go off a 6m picnic table with the last obstacle being a wall. Phew!
The event is open to anyone and will no doubt showcase some new faces pushing the level of girls’ riding. Last year’s winner Steffi Hamman won a one-year contract on the Nikita Team and this year the same opportunity is up for grabs, plus a prize cash purse. There are two categories: womens and juniors, with all competitors taking part in 1-3 heats of 15-20 riders. Registration will take place the day of the event at the Serfaus ticket office.
Plus, there’ll be a banging after party and award ceremony at the famous Bam Bam bar and goodie bags with freebies from Nikita, Les Ettes, Skull Candy and Cooler!
