Onboard and Cooler Magazine, Toasted Snowpark Technologies, Serfaus Ski Resort, Blue Tomato and Red Bull team up with Nikita Clothing for the first European Nikita Chickita Snowdown, a slopestyle event open to all girls to be held in Serfaus, Austria from April 14-15th 2007.
After two successful years in the US, it is time to bring the Nikita Chickita Snowdown to Europe. The highly successful “sponsor me” slopestyle event has, much like Nikita clothing, quickly gained popularity amongst girls who ride.
The day long event will take place in Serfaus, Austria on April 14th -15th and bring out the most talented up-and-coming girl snowboarders in Europe. At the end of the day the top three qualifiers will split the prize money, but the winner will also be offered a two year contract with Team Nikita, along with some of the biggest names in woman’s snowboarding.
“After two successful years in the US it is time to bring the Nikita Chickita Snowdown to Europe as well,” says Nikita’s owner and designer Heida Birgisdottir. “Female riders in Europe deserve their own event and recognition and we want to bring that to them. We want to show how good the girls actually are, and have fun doing it.”
