New for this winter, Roxy is bringing you the ultimate girls-only Snow Camps, for girls who want to ride hard during the day, while enjoying some luxury and fun in the evenings. Roxy and Scottish snowboard legend Lesley McKenna are working with premier chalet provider StarSki Chalets in Morzine, to offer girls the best snow camp on the market! Plus, Roxy have created a new concept in providing tuition by pros for both skiers and snowboarders together.
Here’s what’s in store…Guests are picked up at Geneva airport then whisked to StarSki’s luxe chalet by private transfer – no hanging around waiting for buses or trains. Upon arrival you get a champagne reception which sets the tone for the week.
On the mountain, fully BASI qualified Roxy instructors take you through your paces to help you get the most out of your week, whether you are a skier or a snowboarder. Each day you’ll get 4 hours of expert tuition, with areas varying according to skill level, including park riding, an introduction to rails & kickers, free riding, half pipe (from the Olympic maestro Miss McKenna of course!), and you’ll also get video analysis to see how you ride and to help you improve your style.
If you don’t have your own skis or board, you can take advantage of the Roxy Demo Centre and try the latest Roxy boards, skis and boots. All fitted from the comfort of your luxury chalet.
Back at your luxury chalet you can take advantage of free wifi to check your facebook, lounge in your en-suite bathroom with Molton Brown bath products, soak in the hot tub or steam in the sauna, chill out in front of the huge flat screen TV, or play on the XBOX 360 and Wii. The chalet also has it’s own yoga studio where yoga classes will be on offer every afternoon.
Each day you get cakes and hot drinks when you come off the mountain in the afternoon with an amazing three course dinner every night served alongside carefully chosen wines.
In the evening, you’ll be spoilt for choice for activities including Singstar battles, board/ski maintenance sessions, DJ workshops, t-shirt design classes, snow film screenings, exclusive shopping evenings in the Roxy store in Morzine plus Roxy Party Night in one of Morzine’s hottest nightspots! You also get an on mountain BBQ at the park during your stay.
All this plus a fantastic goodie bag worth over £60 with Roxy t-shirt, beanie, stickers, posters and magazines.
Roxy Winter Snow Camps take place on the 1st March 2009 and 22nd March 2009 and costs are £680, including all tuition for the week, lift passes, accommodation, breakfast, 3 course dinner and all evening events.
