The Camden Green Fair and Bikefest will be back on Sunday 1st June, 2008, and this year Trek have come on board to offer their support. The Green Fair is one of the largest free eco-events in the UK, which aims to promote sustainability through the launch of the annual London Sustainability Weeks, or ‘Love London’. Head over to London’s Regents Park from 12-7pm to find out how you can do your bit.
“This is an enormously relevant and exciting event,” says Andrew Griffin of Trek UK. “There can be no greater challenge facing the world than climate change and to present ways in which we can all help, in an accessible form, should always be applauded and, if possible, supported.”
Trek will be showcasing bikes from its 2009 range with particular focus on hybrid and urban models – not only is cycling becoming increasingly popular as a means of boosting human health, but also for improving the health of the planet. With this in mind, Trek are arranging guided rides from three locations across the borough of Camden which will finish at the event venue in Regent’s Park and also link up with other non-bike related features of the Green Fair.
