At this point on a Friday most of us are impatiently eyeballing that clock with either wetsuits on/board in arm/bike helmet already on, ready to tear off and start enjoying our weekends. Before you shoot off, we have a story to raise those spirits and perhaps inspire you to perhaps do something super extraordinary with the sports you love.
At the end of July, 3 French riders will be leaving the colourful shores of Bangalore, India, and heading to the bustling streets of Paris, partaking in a trans-world bike adventure they have affectionately christened ‘The Road’, all in aid of raising funds for The Baale Mane. The Baale Mane is a loving home for girls who have either been abandoned or rescued from child labour or domestic violence and whose parents cannot take care of them. At Baale Mane the girls have a permanent home; improved nutrition; health care, access to education and participate in decisions that affect them.
Every penny raised will go directly towards The Baale Mane and supporting the awesome work that is carried out there. To read more about this inspirational story and to donate head on over to The Road website. Namaste!
