Describe yourself: I’m a snowboarder, bit of an international wanderer at the moment, living out of boardbags, doin’ a bit of this and that, writing and cleaning and running tennis courts and football pitches and planning ways to achieve world domination! …Whilst riding heaps and heaps with all my friends.
Talk us through your average day… Get out of bed/matress/couch… eat porridge always – that’s about the only thing that definitely happens every day! Then I normally go riding wherever I am, whatever the weather. Then go home, eat and eat and eat and fall asleep. Yeah!
How long have you been riding? 5 years
Best achievement: Getting a first at uni – made my mum cry she was so stoked, so that was pretty cool.
Best trick: Is still to come I hope
Biggest rush: Hitting big jumps and stomping stuff.
Scariest moment:Those ‘Oh shit, I screwed up’ feelings as you’re flying through the air.
Favourite riders: Mikey Leblanc cos he’s funny and angry and cracks me up.
Favourite place to ride and why: I think Morzine… that’s where I learnt and I always feel kind of at home there. I also love the Scotland hills because the people are amazing. And the trees in Mayrhofen are really good too.
What essential items do you pack in your suitcase for a trip? Snowboard stuff, laptop, shuffles and pods and heaps of ibuprofen.
