The first Roxy surf camp rocked Fuerteventura last weekend as over 180 budding wave-riders hit the Quiksilver Surf School in a bid to fine-tune their surfing skills.
The girls descended on La Entubadera beach in Corralejo to enjoy an unforgettable day of surfing in glorious sunshine and glassy 3-foot waves.
During the day there were numerous activities on offer, all totally free of charge! From learn to surf lessons by pro instructors to free trials of the latest Surftech Boards and recovery time spent lounging on the beach. Pro Roxy team surfers Iballa Ruano and Sonja Hoenscheid were on hand with inspirational surf demos and top tips for the trainees.
After a hard day in the surf, there was plenty of food and drink on offer to recharge the batteries and an awards ceremony with gifts for all the participants. Shattered but stoked: it’s safe to say the ladies had a super-fun day.
