After they released one of the best female snowboard movies ever with Stance last season, Stan Evans and Jeremy Mills have the next epic project in the pipeline: Say My Name. for which they followed pro skier Grete Eliassen through two of her strongest seasons to date. Shot fully in high-definition, the film explores what its like to be an international ski superstar, twenty-two year old X-Games gold medalist, and female world record holder. Since its inception, this project has been envisioned with a single message: Inspiration.
“My main goal with this film is to inspire,” says Grete. “Women have been skiing hard forever and I want girls everywhere to see the full circle that I live. They can go in the park and have fun; they can get snowmobiles and head out into the backcountry.” Between blasting 31 feet off a world record hip jump in Utah, and slashing lines at Red Bull Cold Rush in Retallack, BC, Grete has exited the 2010 season with locomotive-like energy.
