The first contest of the year didn’t have the best weather conditions you could imagine (some of the best pow riding ones ever though, but that just at a side note), but managed to pull of a great show no matter what, with one of our favourite Canadians, Spencer O’Brien, ruling above Swiss local Sina Candrian and Austria rookie Anna Gasser.
It was Spencer’s clean FS 7 nosebone, that convinced the judges in the Swiss alpine village of Davos on the foot of the Jakobshorn to award her with the highest score of the women’s rounds – despite a 9 from Cheryl Maas and some super smooth Jibs from Sina and Anna. But enough of the words, we’re sure you all wanna watch the highlights now…
(And watch out for more from Spencer in the upcoming issue of our print mag…)
