Uhh yeah, the New Year doesn’t only bring us fresh snow and nipple deep powder (hopefully) but also a new season of exhilarating surfing and fierce competition on the ASP Women’s World Tour!

And to start off, they appointed tour veteran Jessi Miley-Dyer as manager for the women’s leg of the world tour, who not only competed professionally for the last six years but also bagged the ASP World Junior title back in the days. She’ll make sure that everything runs smooth while the contenders fight for the 2012 throne, including former cover girls Sally Fitzgibbons and Steph Gilmore as well as reigning tour champ Carissa Moore, Coco Ho, Tyler Wright, Silvana Lima, Sofia Mulanovich, Courtney Conlogue, Pauline Ado, Laura Enever, Malia Manuel, Lakey Peterson, Sage Erickson, Rebecca Woods, Paige Hareb, Justine Dupont and Jacqueline Silva.

The first event hits the Australian Gold Coast for the Roxy Pro from February 25th until March 9th 2012.
