Go211 is pleased to announce that Mary Osborne has joined the Go211.com Pro Team. Champion Longboarder, Tandem Surfer and most recently acclaimed for her victorious sweep of the Longboard Division on MTV’s “Surf Girls”; Osborne is making her mark in the surfing world.
In 2003, Mary was nominated for a Teen Choice Award as ‘Best Female Athlete’, and was named the first ‘Action Girl of the Year’ by Action Girl. Osborne aspires to keep young women as the forerunners of surf and has co-authored the book ‘Sister Surfer: A Woman’s Guide to Surfing with Bliss and Courage’, with fellow surfer Kia Afcari.
“I feel very fortunate to be able to communicate my dedication to supporting youths in this industry through the Go211 vehicle. I look forward to interacting with the sites member’s and hope to be an inspiration to them,” said Osborne.
Go211.com is the site for behind-the-scenes video, blogs, photos and podcasts from athletes in the action sports world. The current athlete roster includes Holly Beck, Danny Kass, Jereme Rogers, Christian Hosoi, Mitchie Brusco, Jamie Bestwick, Seth Wescott, Kelly Clark, and Ben Watts among others.
