There’s not much on the competitive calendar for pro girl skaters these days, so when an event is on.. it’s on! At the end of the month, the worlds best female transitional skaters will be hitting up the Vans US Open for a bowl contest. Here’s the scoop on it…

Mimi Knoop and The Alliance are forever pushing for more competitive platforms for female skateboarding. And here is one of their successes, the Van Doren Invitational women’s contest running at the Vans US Open, 28th-29th July. They been working hard to get together the best names to compete in a custom bowl on the beach. What a treat we will be in for!
