Yesterday we run Coco Ho saying: “We can be sexy and we can be the athlete” and today we stumble upon this Steph Gilmore vid of her doing just that on some beautiful Central American point breaks. Love the tune too.

During a @roxy signing at the US Open in Huntington, a female fan showed up and gifted me with this cd full of “60’s Surfgirl songs” Brazilian, Bossa Nova style stuff. “For Stephanie, from Avra(Ava?)” the track we used was called Surf’n in Rio by Sylvia Telles and I just love it! The whole album makes you feel pretty damn happy. So thank you Avra where ever you are! Sylvia died in 1966. I wonder I she ever surfed?
