This week the surfer, photographer and fashion designer Kassia Meador has chosen the war photographer Gerda Taro. Here’s why

I have a lot of heroes but I think the one I will speak about now is Gerda Taro. She was an incredible war photographer and died doing what she loved and informing people all over the world about how heavy war is… She is for sure a hero of mine and pushed everything to the limits!!! And her amazing images will live on forever.
