Hawaiian surf goddess Carissa Moore

While the article In the beginning… on the origins of surfing in Hawaii in the brand new issue of Cooler mag still closes with the outlook for another Hawaiian surf champ, we all know by now that Carissa Moore did it and brought the crown back to her islands even before the end of the ASP World Tour, during the Roxy Pro in Biarritz.

And she’s not only the youngest ASP champ ever (yes, that’s women AND men!), she’s also one hell of a brave chick, being towed in the monsters that rattle Jaws in Maui – as you can see in the clip above.
