http://mpora.com/videos/6MqhTvFpb Trying to change the image of surfing girls from bikini nymphs to actual athletes, Rip Curl is launching a series of 8 short films that follow their team rider Pauline Ado from France through her season.
After having already spent 2 years on the WQS circuit, Pauline Ado rejoined the rare list of Europeans to qualify for the ASP Womens World Tour. Pauline feels more confident having achieved a good result at Snapper during the first leg of the 2011 season. She was knocked out in Round 4 by the young Tyler Wright but she should congratulate herself all the same on beating Sofia Mulanovich and Rebecca Woods.
The series gives us some insights in the daily life and reality of a pro surfer girl and an in-depth account of different situations, conversations and people she hangs around with at contests. Meet Pauline in Torquay for the Bells Beach’s 50 years anniversary in the first episode.
