Today Burton Snowboards released part 3 of their four-part video series titled Women [Snowboarding], the other parts are called Backcountry, Street and um Resort.

Even though we’re normally fans of women only spaces as we discuss in this piece about whether we’re sexist to only feature women on the site, I’m a bit less sure about it when it comes to women only movies as I think they all too often get ignored, where as one or two girls having a cool part in a killer guys’ movie has a bigger impact.

A mix of both is the best plan I think though not always possible in the current climate but there does seem to be a trend of girls no longer getting parts in guy movies too which I’m not sure is a step forward but anywaaaaays this is still a rad watch. It stars backcountry wonder Kimmy Fasani, Olympic medallists Kelly Clark and Hannah Teter and Sochi hopefuls Enni Rukajarvi, Arielle Gold and Cilka Sadar. This time next year they could have quite a haul between them.

My favourite part is Arielle Gold chatting about “the importance of going BIG” followed by a sequence of her seriously sending it. Enjoy!
