The most important thing to remember when it comes to catching green waves is that patience is key.
If you head out all guns blazing, you’ll probably find yourself getting pretty disheartened (and exhausted) by the lack of waves you’re managing to catch.
You can learn a lot by the surfers around you, take some time to sit on the shoulder of the wave (out of the way) and study how the other surfers paddle out, position themselves and get on the waves.
Practice makes perfect so don’t try and rush it, get out there and enjoy yourself. It’ll all fall together before you know it.
