There’s always the festival that packs a bit more action into its wings. So if you want to see gals (and guys) ripping it from the skies and through the water by day and dance your feet raw partying to live beats flowing through the sea air by night then, woah, this is the one for you. Set in the glorious surrounds of Cardigan Bay, North Wales, this is a festival where you can play as hard as you ride.
The days is packed full comps down at Pwllhelli Marina and will see some of the UK’s colossal wakeboard talent including Nicola Butler, Charlotte Bryant, Jules Haley and Steph Caller, as well as Australia’s Amber Wing. From a full morning of practice on the Thursday through to the Mystic Big Air comp on the Sunday there will be plenty of opportunity to see what these riders have to offer. And hell, you can even have a go yourself down at Glasfryan Wake Parc, if you’re game.
As the night closes in you can get your earholes around the likes of Rizzle Kicks, The All-American Reject, DJ Fresh, Katy B, High Contrast and Funeral For a Friend.
