This brand new festival, set against the backdrop of the almost mythical Portmeirion, lets you put all your own pieces together and create your own perfect little festival. You can sleep in a castle or a bell-tent, or anywhere in between. With an impressive and adventurous line-up you can map your own journey from top to toe, whether you want to lap up a string quartet along a promenade or catch a performance in a historical building or get right down the front of a headline slot in the middle of a great garden. You can wet your whistle at a pop-up oyster and champagne bar should you come over all fancy or keep it old school at a medieval dining hall.
So if you don’t get lost amid the gardens, mesmerised by the Mediterranean architecture or totally sidetracked by the fascinating literature, talks and woodland storytelling then you might just catch Richard Hawley, British Sea Power, Gruff Rhys, New Order, Summer Camp, The Whip, Alt-J, Cate Le Bon, Y Niwl, Erol Alkan or Don Letts.
